Collectors Lunch presented by Chartis. An exceptional and intimate lunch prepared by Chef Traci Des Jardins featuring Domaine Louis Michel et Fils and Domaine Michel Lafarge, with visiting winemakers Guillaume Gicqueau-Michel and Frédéric and Chantal Lafarge. Both Domaines will showcase recent and older vintages sourced directly from their cellars. Lunch will be preceded by Champagne Delamotte Blanc de Blancs.

Jardinière to Celebrate Hemingway With Moveable Feast Dinner – March 14, 2012

As a benefit for LitQuake, Jardinière is devoting their Monday, March 14, 2012 prix fixe menu to a Hemingway tribute (also, Clive and Nicole are in town shooting Hemingway & Gellhorn for HBO). The three-course menu, inspired by legendary Paris bistro La Closerie des Lilas which is featured in A Moveable Feast, will include Butterball potato, spring “garleek and eek” soup with rock shrimp (actually a Chaucer reference, from Canterbury Tales, “Well loved he garleek, oynons, and eek lekes”); and a pan-roasted hanger steak “Hemingway” with an au poivre sauce.

Dinner, with three wine pairings, is $55 per person with $10 going to help LitQuake.
